Revisions to WHA Section 8 Administrative Plan

In accordance with recent HUD regulation changes, WHA is revising its Section 8 Administrative Plan to comply with the required changes. All residents in both Public Housing & Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher Program) are invited to review and submit comments related to the changes. Comments can be submitted to:

The changes will be discussed with residents at various meetings prior to presenting them to the WHA Board of Commissioners for approval at the February Board meeting. The changes will be discussed with residents on December 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at WHA Main Office. 809 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Revised Public Housing Utility Allowances

In accordance with HUD Regulations, Housing Authorities are required to review its utilities allowances annually and make adjustments as needed. WHA has requested a review of its Public Housing Utility Allowances from a company that is qualified and plans to present it to the WHA Board of Commissioners for approval at the December 2023 Board Meeting. Copies of the changes will be available by November 20, 2023, at WHA Main Office, 809 Pennsylvania Avenue. In addition, WHA will discuss the changes with the WHA Resident Advisory Board during the week of November 20, 2023, and at a planned meeting on December 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at WHA's main office.
