The Washington Housing Authority is developing its PHA 5-Year Plan for FY 2025-2029 in compliance with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements.

Public comments are welcomed during the comment period of May 10, 2023-June 25, 2024. Any comments concerning the updates to the 5-Year Plan must be made in writing and either emailed to Jessica Jenkins or submitted to the main office at 809 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, NC 27889 by 2:00 pm on June 24, 2024. All public comments are included in the PHA 5-Year Plan submission.

In addition, a public hearing will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Eastern Village Community Building located at 809 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, NC 27889.
